About yup/no

RSVPs that respect your time and your guests' privacy.

Why it exists

Collecting RSVPs shouldn't require everyone to make an account or hand their data to an ad company. The simple act of asking "are you coming?" had turned into signups, app installs, and inboxes full of marketing.

yup/no is the version we wanted: make an event, share a link, get answers. Your guests tap one button. Nobody signs up for anything.

How it's built — and what we promise

yup/no runs on Cloudflare's edge network, so pages load fast wherever your guests are. The rest is a short list of promises we actually keep:

  • No accounts required — for you or your guests. An event lives behind a private link you control.
  • No tracking, no ads, no analytics that follow people around. We don't run third-party trackers.
  • We never sell your data or your guests' data. There's no ad business here to feed.
  • Event data auto-deletes after the event ends, so old guest lists don't sit around forever.

Who's behind it

yup/no is an independent project — small and self-directed, not VC-backed. There's no growth team optimizing you into a funnel, and no investors expecting your contacts to become an asset. It exists because the tool should, and it stays simple on purpose.
